The challenge this fortnight at Try it on Tuesday is 'Crowning Glory', and we would like to see a crown on your project. Hope you enjoy all the design team creations.
For my DT project, I decide to do this 'Gold Queen' with the gorgeous Lynne Perrella stamp. The image has been stamped and coloured using StaZon ink, watercolours, silver, gold and black markers (Giotto and Faber-Castell). I also added lace behind the image to enhance it.
I created the background with PanPastel pastels, gold and silver Viva Decor Ferro for a metallic effect and a embossing folder from Sizzix. For the arch frame (Tim Holtz) and base corrugated card, I also used metallic (gold and silver) acrylic paints.
Here I applied modelling paste mixed with acrylic paint through these TCW stencils.
I drew a crown on a piece of cardstock, then cut out and coloured it with gold and black acrylic paint. And I also added some metallic details for extra embellishment.
